It’s rare that both sets of grandparents get to see Haidyn
on one weekend, let alone the same day especially if it isn’t a holiday. This weekend,
we totally made that happen and we couldn’t be happier. This was the one
weekend that Haidyn had a break from swimming so we had to take full advantage
of it. These kinds of weekends are the ones that I wish we didn’t have to leave
them because Haidyn was having so much fun. Haidyn even ran away from us after
telling her that we had to leave Grandma and Grandpa’s house. :[
Lolo invited us to lunch at the new Mel’s diner at Boomtown-
which is completely out of the ordinary now since she’s teething and doesn’t
like to eat. So naturally, since Haidyn ate a lot of her food Lolo treated her
with some arcade time. She quickly became obsessed with the moving boat and
when I say obsessed I mean she rode it 3 times before we could convince her to
move on. She ended up winning 15 tickets and receiving a frog and an army guy.
After seeing Lolo we spent the rest weekend with Grandma and
Grandpa. As soon as we got to their
house Haidyn ran to Grandma to give her a big hug. We ended up going to the
lake (where only Haidyn and I got wet because it was too cold). No pictures
because it was that cold. After the lake, we spent a lot of QT with everyone
while watching the Giants play ball. Our agenda; eat, sleep, play and watch
baseball. I’m still missing my Dad’s shrimp ceviche.
Sunday came too fast and we couldn’t all help but feel a
little lonely when we saw Wadsworth in our rear view. Although the weekend is
over, we’re counting down the days until we get to see everyone again. Haidyn got a ton of stuff from everyone to remember the awesome weekend. Can you say spoiled princess? Shh.. don't tell Grandma, Grandpa or Lolo I said that. [: Now it's back to reality for everyone.
Happy Monday Everyone!
P.S. Can you tell how obsessed I am with B&W right now? [;
