Honey Garlic Chicken


INGREDIENTS
  • 3 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • sesame seeds, *optional
  • fresh chopped parsley, *optional
For Honey Garlic Sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce *optional, more to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat a pan up with oil to fry chicken pieces. Start at a medium- low temperature.
  2. Add the flour, s&p and cornstarch to a shallow plate and coat chicken.
  3. Season chicken with salt and pepper. 
  4. Add chicken to the flour mixture and toss to make sure each piece is fully coated .
  5. Dust off any excess flour and fry chicken pieces until golden brown. 
  6. In a small container, add all the sauce ingredients and get ready to pour over hot chicken. * You may also pour all sauce ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to bowl before pouring over chicken.   
  7. Pour sauce over chicken and toss so that the chicken pieces are fully coated. * left over sauce can be used for dipping. 

  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and parsley * optional.
  9. Serve over rice and/or veggies.
