Pumpkin Fever | Visiting the Andelin Family Farm

We’re all up for some outdoor family fun especially in the fall. We’ve heard so many great things about this family farm that we needed to check it out for ourselves.  We had high hopes for this farm due to the last local pumpkin patch we went to turned out to be a bust. We had no idea how close it was to our own home, which made it so convenient for us. Entrance fee is $7 for all adults which includes everything on the grounds (children under 1 are free). The entrance fee included everything in the farm from pony rides to hay rides – which is a steal in itself. We didn’t get to experience the face painting or the pony rides since we visited the farm on a Tuesday, but it was still so much fun for the entire family.

We were greeted by the friendliest and helpful staff. We were given a map to explore the farm grounds. They had everything from pick your own pumpkins to petting animals to fun little games. Haidyn has a short attention span when it comes to bigger places ( i.e  pumpkin patches in general ) but this farm allowed her to explore everything without getting tired of anything. There was so much to do that we explored the farm little by little.
Haidyn’s favorites were petting the animals (they have the coolest names) and the ride. Our favorite on the other hand was riding the bikes around the tire track. How could we possibly resist this cool attraction? We can’t wait to go back during a Saturday and in the spring for animal days! This family farm did not disappoint, in fact it surpassed all of our expectations. Thank you Andelin farm for being so welcoming, until next time!
