January Meal Prep | Week Four




We’ve gotten such great feedback from last week’s meal prep that I wanted to continue our meal prep blogs for all of you! Note that all of these meal preps do not include our dinners as I usually just have a lot of extra from our meal prep on Sundays, however listed is what we would typically eat. Haidyn is also included in the meal prep for the dinners. We try not to make our food different from hers as we want to make sure she’s getting the best nutrition possible.



JANNINE - MEAL PREP  
BREAKFAST - Shakeology, 1 tsp oil ( nut butter/ coconut oil) and fruit  * fridays i swamp my snack 2 with
SNACK 1 – Egg scramble w/ turkey bacon and veggies  
LUNCH – Turkey Lettuce Wraps w/ garlic rice  /OR/ Pork tacos w/ black beans and veggies
SNACK 2 - Toast w/ avocado  /OR/ Toast w/ cheese
DINNER - 1 cup veg, 1 3/4 cup protein, 1 cup fruit


WAYMON - MEAL PREP 
BREAKFAST -  Turkey & veg breakfast sandwhiches
SNACK 1 – Overnight oats w/ fruit and Greek yogurt 
LUNCH - Turkey Lettuce Wraps w/ cheesy garlic rice  /OR/ Pork tacos w/ black beans and cheesy veggies
SNACK 2 –Crackers and turkey 
DINNER- Protein shake, nut butter and fruit




Our meal prep this time , took us around 2 hours to complete from start to finish. As you all can see it’s definitely not hard to accomplish and if two hours will save you time for the rest of the week why not do it! ?  I’d like to point out is that not all snacks on Waymon’s meal prep will be featured. We are in two different calorie counts from the 21DF plan (I’m on the 1200-1500 while he is on the 1800-2099) so he eats more than I do. Since he goes to the gym at night most of his meals are consumed throughout the day so that he isn't full going into the gym. I, on the other hand, have nixed the carbs from my diet after 6 pm. It's been doing so great for me that I'm continuing it. You really DON'T need that heavy feeling at dinner time. But I’m still so envious of what Waymon's eating (sometimes) !!  We’re trying to keep things simple for our meals as we are eating clean, but that doesn’t mean we’re lacking flavor in our food!
