80 Day Obsession | Phase One Results

I will continue to tell you how skeptical I was about this program. I have no idea why I was so skeptical over it because I've done Autumn's other programs before and achieved such amazing results. This program is so different from the others because it's taking everything I THOUGHT I believed I COULD do and changed it. It's that crazy. At the beginning of this year, I found myself 10 lbs heavier than I was last year before the holidays. The holidays and life apparently got to me. I won't sugar coat it for you all. I was down on myself I hated what I saw in the mirror, the number I saw on the scale and was just down on myself because I lost all of the momentum that I gained over the course of a year. Instead of letting all of that get me down even further, I decided to do something about. The biggest reason I decided to change it all is because I didn't want to see myself like that anymore. I wanted to be the person that loved my body I'm fighting for. Enough of this talk! Let's get to the results of phase one!

Phase one was 26 days of working out and building the foundation for the next two months of this workout!

BEFORE MEASUREMENTS

CHEST 33 IN
WAIST 28.5 IN
HIPS 36 IN
R ARM 10.5 IN
L ARM 10 IN
R THIGH 18.5 IN
L THIGH 19 IN
R CALF 13.5 IN
L CALF 13.75 IN

AFTER MEASUREMENTS

CHEST 33 IN

R ARM 12.5 IN
L ARM 11.5 IN

L CALF 14 IN
WEIGHT 122.4 LBS
TOTAL INCHES 185.5

TOTAL WEIGHT LOST 4.4 LBS
TOTAL INCHES LOST/GAINED - 2.75 IN

The pictures obviously don't lie! These results are real! But I feel like the measurements are wrong because I half assed my measurements the first go around. I'm sure that I didn't do them right because I usually have my husband help. I gained more than I lost in inches but I lost pounds! My goal for this program is to get back to my old self and focus of gaining strength more than anything else.

February Meal Prep | Week Three

We're three weeks into February and I'm so excited! Our food is changing once again and we're getting so many more vegetables . Our family has been getting more and more into vegetables and different ways to eat them! It's been so wonderful not hassling and nagging everyone to eat all the vegetables I've prepared. This week's prep was a lot of fun for planning. I told you all I like to incorporate our favorite meals into our prep while I make them healthier! So for our chicken, instead of frying it I grilled our spicy chicken. All the same flavor without the guilt.  If you haven't used or tried Kodiak cakes you NEED to! They're delicious and to die for. I love them so much that I bought the Costco size.

January Thrift Haul

One of my goals this year is to thrift more! Actually it's to thrift all of my clothes for an entire year.  I spend a lot of money digging through the clearance section at Target for pricey mediocre clothes. I love target, but they got me there. Waymon turned me to thrifting when we started dating, but I haven't really dived into the thrift world until recently. I've gotten so many cute clothes from thrifting that I just can't stop!My shopping habit has found it's match!

 JANNINE HAUL

My mom gave me her hand me downs which was fine when I was heavier. I didn't care because I didn't have to pay for new clothes. I only started to care when my friends started to comment that I was dressing like an old lady instead of dressing my age. I knew from that point on I had to stop being so cheap and go find my own style apart from my mom's. I'm glad I did too because the clothes were totally her style and not mine. This haul I focused more on long sleeved clothing because of work and how cold it is right now in Reno.

HAIDYN HAUL

My focus for Haidyn's clothes was anything that had multiple uses throughout the year. She's huge and I have no idea what size she'll actually be . She got dresses, PJ shirts ( becasue I've given up on cute PJS that she out grows in a month) and a sweater!

Now that I've lost some weight I wanted to buy clothes without spending too much money on these clothes because I'm sure I'm not done with losing weight yet. Thrifting was my solution. Cute clothes, new clothes to me and less money spent!  Haidyn is even getting in on the action because over my dead body am I spending hundreds of dollars on clothes for her that won't fit in a couple months. Here's to a successful year of thrifting!

Women's March 2018

Raising a little girl in this trying time has me optimistic . Optimistic because I know that I'm doing everything I can to raise a strong, independent and intelligent young lady. I'm raising Haidyn to believe she can breathe fire. She will not be silenced and I never want her to feel that way. She can do anything she wants to do in this life of hers and we will be behind her 150% regardless of what she wants to do in life.

We attended our local 2018 Women's March to march with our fellow sisters in Reno. Haidyn had no idea why we were walking but after explaining to her why we were walking along side so many powerful women she was trying her best to piece together what was happening. At the end of the walk the one thing she did understood is that girls are equal to boys and GIRL POWER! Not half bad for a 3 1/2 year old.

We saw so many familiar faces and so many other's wanting to stand up for us women. It's truly empowering and moving to see so many women stand up for what they believe in. Everyone was there on their own agenda but together I truly believe that we were all united as one.
