The Birth "Plan"

I know that I can't control anything at this point in my pregnancy. It's all up to H on what is going to happen and how they're going to happen, but I have thought about every option we have to deliver her. I honestly, thought that I would be delivering her C-Section because of my family's history which I'm not opposed to but we're pushing for ( ha oh the irony) a normal vaginal birth. Either way, as long as I get to see my girl we're happy campers. :)

ATTENDANTS
At my hospital I can have up to 3 people in the room with me while I deliver. Frankly, all I need is Waymon to be there. I don't know what I do without my husband so much so that I don't even want to think about it. He's definitely my rock in everything. He knows how to calm me down and just make me laugh through the toughest times.
Other than Waymon, Stacy asked  to be in the room with me as well. My best friend beside me isn't a bad thing. :) I've also kept Jon in mind to be in the room with me, but I don't know if I want to put my little brother through all of that.
However, if I do have a C-section Waymon will be the only one in there with me.

AMENITIES
I'm not keen on bringing music to play or dimming the lights while I deliver. All I care about is that everything is peaceful and relaxing during labor and delivery. I'll take my Ipad and phone with me so that I can occupy myself (hello Pinterest!) , but other than that I'm good. I stress easily, so I don't need any unnecessary crap when I'm trying to relax.

HOSPITAL ADMISSION & PROCEDURES
If at all possible, I want Waymon to be by my side at all times. I'd probably freak out without him there. Unless, I have a C-section where I know that there will be a time where I can't be with him.

LABOR PROPS
I don't think I'll be needed any labor props other than my warm rice bag. I think I'd kill myself trying to bounce on a huge labor ball.

PAIN RELIEF
I'm pretty good with pain. I don't usually make that much of a fool of myself when I am in pain. I keep to myself and try to breathe through what I can. I want to say that I'm going to man up and not get an epidural, but I'm not superwoman. I'm going to try to stand it as long as possible, but I'm going to get an epidural. I know that my OB is not joking when he tells me that our baby is big. I know she is. I can feel her all the time. Pain meds and me are going to be BFF's. The only time I wouldn't get the epidural is if I'm truly too late in getting it and I have to push her our immediately. There's nothing I can do about the latter.

VAGINAL BIRTH
During birth: I don't want the mirror. NO NO NO. Waymon can also be right beside me when I'm delivering. He doesn't want to see the "miracle" happening before his eyes and neither do I. That's something we can just leave up to our imaginations.
I want Waymon to cut the umbilical cord as soon as he can. I don't want to wait on that. I know that some people wait while it's still pulsing.

After birth: I'd like to hold my baby skin to skin. My hospital is good with not cleaning the baby and weighing her right after she comes out. I want to breast feed as soon as she comes out so that we bond. After all of that they can take her and do what they need to do as long as she doesn't need immediate medical attention.

Pictures are fine after delivery not during. No videos will come out of that room. The one thing I want to remember is seeing my girl's face for the first time and I can take mental pictures for that one. Other than that, I don't care how many pictures are taken AFTER baby and I are all camera ready. Labor and delivery is hard .. I can say that I don't want to remember me looking like a hot mess on a gross table.

C-SECTION
I want Waymon there as much as he can be. I don't think I have the option of breast feeding right after delivery. So my doctor and nurses will have to do what they have to with baby girl . But I would like Waymon to hold H as soon as she's good to be held. I really want bonding to happen after delivery either way.

POSTPARTUM
I want to be there for any newborn procedures as I can and if I can't be there I want Waymon to always be there with her. I'd like H to stay in our room if she can so that we can be with her. I'm not worried about how tired I will be or anything like that. I will sleep when she does so that I don't miss anything.

FEEDING ISSUES
I plan to breastfeed exclusively until 10 days before going back to work. At that point, I will be introducing her to breast milk through a bottle with Waymon. I won't be feeding her with a bottle so that she doesn't get nipple confusion. Waymon will be doing bottle feedings as well as anyone else who has/wants to feed her. I want her to have the best nutrition possible and I know that that's through breast milk. If there is any reason why she can't take breast milk that will be the only reason why I would change my mind. We won't be using any pacifiers either for her.

DISCHARGE
I'd like to be discharged as soon as possible from the hospital. I don't want to stay there longer than I have to be there.

What's in My Hospital Bag?

Here I am 32 weeks in and I've had my hospital bag packed since I was 25-26 weeks. I'm a little over eager about baby girl's big day... to say the least. I've had all of the general things I would need packed since then, but not until a couple weeks ago was I actually really prepared to go to the hospital with the bag. I know that I won't be able to be as prepared as I'd to be since right now it's all up to my girl on when everything happens and how it happens, but I'm happy knowing that I prepared what I could.

I have three separate bags to bring to the hospital: mommy & baby bag, daddy's bag and the "Oh @#$% I forgot ...." bag.

Mommy & Baby Bag

Baby girl's bag:

I didn't want to bring diapers or anything like that to the hospital because they'll be providing a lot of that type of stuff there. I just wanted her to have her clothes, because I don't know how long we will be there. I also wanted her to have her essential stuff so that she's comfortable.

Clothing:
  1. 3 pairs of socks
  2. 1 beanie
  3. 1 pair of scratch mittens
  4. 2 sets of jammies
  5. 3 pairs of leggings
  6. 3 regular onesies
  7. 2 white onesies
  8. 1 going home outfit :)

Baby essentials:
  1. 1 swaddling blanket
  2. 1 burp rag
  3. 1 blanket
  4. 1 breast feeding infinity scarf
  5. 1 soft toy

I didn't want to not bring my breast feeding scarf since I know that a lot of our family and friends want to meet her. I don't want to have to shoo people away especially when I can feed and talk while I cover her. Everything else is for her to be comfortable with since they are her things.

Mommy's Bag :

Again, I don't know how long we will be there, I've practically packed for a week of staying in the hospital. Will I need it? Probably not, but hey I'd rather be prepared. I also hate the fact that right now Nevada is bipolar with it's weather and can't make up it's mind if we're in Spring or Winter.

Mommy Clothing:
  1. 2 pairs of sweats
  2. 1 pair of capri yoga pants
  3. 1 pair of shorts
  4. 1 pair of parachute type yoga pants ( they're from Target and are AMAZING)
  5. 3 regular tank tops .
  6. 1 pair of flip flops
  7. 1 pair of moccasins. I can use these as shoes and slippers in the hospital.
  8. Washable nursing pads
  9. 4 Layering/ Nursing tank tops
  10. 2 "Nursing Bras". I'm using Old Navy sports bras for this.
  11. 1 Belly Band. Just so that I can hold my pants up and keep everything held in after delivery.
  12. 1 tube of nursing gel
  13. 3 pairs of comfy socks to sleep in.
  14. 2 robes
  15. 1 huge comfy sweater .. these are like my security blanket these days.
  16. Panties/Pads. I didn't go out and buy huge panties so I'm using the ones I don't care about- approx 6.
  17. 3 regular t-shirts

Mommy Essentials:
  1. Make up Bag
  2. Toiletry Bag
  3. Showering essentials
  4. Trash Bags- For all of the dirty clothes/pillows/junk
  5. Clean up kit: contacts, q-tips, cotton balls and bobby pins

Daddy Bag

Daddy's bag is pretty simple since he doesn't need much.

Daddy Clothing:
  1. 1 pair of flip flops
  2. 1 pair of basket ball shorts
  3. 3 t-shirts
  4. 3 pairs of underwear

Oh @#$% Bag

This is for pillows (neck pillow/regular pillow) , camera, chargers and everything else I might forget. :)

Squash Week

How far along? 32 weeks and 3 days.   8 more weeeeeekkkkks!

Total weight gain/loss:  140.2 this week. A +0.8 lb gain from last week and an overall weight gain of 21.7.

Maternity clothes? Same ol' pants and leggings.

Stretch marks? Nope.  Right now I can see all of my veins and stuff ( which is weird) and they all look like stretch marks, but you can tell how much blood is flowing through me right now. I'm also having a weird reaction to something so I'm kind of breaking out on my stomach ( I'm not itching) so I'm thinking everything is a stretch mark when I know in reality it isn't.

Sleep:  I finally took a nap and slept on time that night! YES! Score for mommy.

Best moments this week:
-Interviewing a daycare for baby girl:) & finding her a daycare<3 I'm so excited that we found someone perfect to take care of her while we work during the day. I come from a daycare background and I was pretty uneasy about putting her in an actual daycare facility. I wanted a home daycare for her so that she would get that one on one care that she deserves and needs especially at 6 weeks. She's going to love going there I just know it. A provider that has that much passion about children is seriously something you can't look past.
- Installing baby girl's car seat base.
-Testing out baby girl's car seat.
-Getting back positive news from my glucose test.

Miss anything?  Not waddling haha. Yes I am starting to waddle a little bit.

Movement: This girl takes after her dad in how rowdy she is. I can't tell you how many times she's jabbed me in the ribs while I was eating, at work and sleeping.

Food cravings: Oranges. Oranges. Oranges. I haven't really been eating that much lately since I've been forcing myself to eat 3 times a day. It sucks right now, but when I do want to eat it's always fruit.

Anything making you queasy or sick: nope! .

Gender: baby girl:)

Labor signs: Nah!

Symptoms: Same as usual.

Belly button in or out? In! But I think it's slowly making itself an outie

Wedding rings on or off? On!!

Happy or moody most of the time:  VERY VERY HAPPY!

Looking forward to:  Baby shower planning & having a baby :)

Week in Pictures: Mom's Birthday!

This past week we celebrated my mom's birthday:) *Que in the Birthday singing! *

This woman is one of the most amazing people I've ever met in my life. The strength, love and humor that pours out of this woman is contagious. I've never really had any heroes in my life, but I hope that one day I will be half the woman that she is.

We took her out to Red Robin for dinner so that we could get someone to sing "Happy Birthday" to her. The look on her face when they came over was priceless. I captured everything on video on my phone. She was shocked and a little embarrassed, but I'm glad she had a good time.

After dinner, we went back to the house where Waymon showed her a thing or two on the drums and guitar. She was trying to capture her inner rock star while playing and I think she did a pretty good job. Don't you think? Now if only she would actually learn how to play :)

A day in our house is never dull and always so full of love. It was an incredible week.

Pineapple Week

How far along? 31 weeks and 4 days!  We're now counting down single digit weeks! OH MY GODDDDD!

Total weight gain/loss:  139.4 this week , same as last week.  An overall weight gain of 20.4!

Maternity clothes? Just Old Navy Maternity Jeans and leggings. I haven't really had to change much of my wardrobe except for my jeans.

Stretch marks? Nope!

Sleep:  I'm always tired now, but what's been helping is sleeping earlier! Who would've thought of that? ha Baby girl does get restless in the middle of the night which makes mommy the same way too.

Best moments this week:
-Seeing Sass freak out over baby girl's movement. Haha Sass completely freaked and didn't want to be near my belly anymore.
-Having our late birthday dinner with my in laws at Grimaldi's this past weekend. I love seeing both of them and just conversing over food. The conversation is always great with them.
-Glucose test! I finally completed the glucose test haha. It took me long enough!  That's what I get for procrastinating! I realized that I'm not as afraid of needles as I think I am.

Miss anything? I miss laying on my stomach while sleeping. I had a vision that after giving birth I laid on my stomach and was thrilled ha . Chances of that actually happening are slim to none haha

Movement: All the time!

Food cravings: Does hot chocolate count as a food? I haven't been really hungry this past week, but I've been consuming so much liquid.

Anything making you queasy or sick: nope! .

Gender: mommy's twin<3

Labor signs: Nah!

Symptoms: Back aches and burning sensation on top of my tum.

Belly button in or out? In! But I think it's slowly making itself an outie

Wedding rings on or off? On!!

Happy or moody most of the time:  VERY VERY HAPPY!

Looking forward to:  Baby shower planning, baby shower attending, having a baby :)

How to Clean Your Keurig

Cleaning your Keurig is a lot simple than you'd think. I got to the point where I was tired of having my tea tasting exactly like my coffee. I know that’s so gross! After a year of being a Keurig owner, I decided that we should probably take a stab at cleaning the damn thing!

What you’ll need:
-White vinegar (lots of it- I bought 2 jugs of it from the dollar store)
-Water (Lots of it)
-Patience (Lots of it)
-Clean toothbrush for cleaning/paper towels
-Large bowl

Directions:
1.      Empty out the water from water reservoirs and fill with vinegar
2.      Let vinegar sit in reservoir for about 5 minutes
3.      Brew hot cups of vinegar through your Keurig machine in to large bowl ( this will take up A LOT of time)
4.      Dump filled bowl as necessary
5.      After emptying the reservoir of the vinegar fill it twice with water getting rid of all of the vinegar  into large bowl
6.      Clean the needle of the Keurig with water and wipe thoroughly with a damp paper towel
7.      Clean surroundings of K-Cup area as well with toothbrush and damp paper towel
8.      Fill up your reservoir and enjoy a fresh tasting cup of joe or tea again!

It's screaming... "CLEAN ME!!"

The crap I was drinking! Yuck!

Cleaning the Keurig was extremely simple. I felt so bad waiting a year before I started to clean it . Whoops! Lessoned learned. No MORE coffee flavored tea for me! I will probably do this more often so that the Keurig is fresh and always clean. Why not right?

"Man-Cakes" Bacon Pancakes

I LOVE LOVE LOVE bacon and so does my husband. So I decided that instead of having a boring breakfast during the week he could have premade bacon pancakes! You heard me right. The definition of a “man-cake”.

Ingredients:
-instant pancake mix
-1/2 package of cooked bacon

Directions:
1.     Place pan on stove and turn your stove on to medium high heat
2.     Mix pancakes ingredients as directed on the box ( you should just add water )
3.     Ladle down your pancake mix onto your pan and place cooked bacon on top
4.     Flip pancake when it starts to bubble on the edges
5.     Take pancakes off of pan when done!
6.     Devour man-cakes with syrupJ

end product!

Frozen Smoothie Packs

I don't know about you, but I am ALWAYS in a rush in the mornings. No matter what I do I always seem to be rushing and if I'm not rushing then I'm forgetting something. :) I made these frozen smoothie packs so that I could 1. use my fruit/spinach up, 2. be prepared and 3. to drink my breakfast on the go! Nothing beats fast, simple AND healthy! Right about now I can't really put down a lot of food, but I love fruit so mixing the two was perfect for me. You can mix and match the fruits as you please and substitute soy milk or almond milk for milk.

Ingredients:
-1 ½ bananas
-1 ½ apples
-1 ½ cup chopped strawberries
-3-5 handfuls of spinach
-1 cup oatmeal (divided)
-1/2 cup flaxseed meal (divided)

Directions:
1.     Divided all ingredients into different blender cups ( you are more than welcome to divide these into plastic bags)
2.     Pop these in the freezer
3.     Morning of blending: add milk and blend!

Easy, simple and so good for you!  Hey ! It beats having a donut in the morning or not having breakfast at all. Curb those awful cravings/habits and start the day right.

Waymon's 23rd Birthday Cake- Chocolate Layer Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting & Cookies n Creme Cookies!

I love making my husband his birthday cakes. He doesn't want much for his birthday, ever. So I figured if I bake him a cake he'd have a little something special for his day. He loves the simple things in food. He loves cookies and cream, but isn't a huge fan over sweets. He's more of a savory type of guy.  I was inspired by pinterest to create a chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting surrounded by cookies and cream cookies. The cake I saw on pinterest was a cookie dough cake with chocolate chip cookies surrounding the cake. It was so beautiful, but I didn't want to die of a heart attack making it/eating it.  So I came up with this little beauty right here. It was the first time I've ever made a layered cake and it was so easy that I didn't know why I was scared to make it in the first place. The cake was sweet, but not overly sweet. It was perfect.... especially because he actually enjoyed his cake.

birthday boy :)

Chocolate Layer Cake from Hershey's

Ingredients:
·         1 & 3/4 cups flour
·         2 cups sugar
·         3/4 cup cocoa powder
·         1 & 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
·         1 & 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
·         1 teaspoon salt
·         2 eggs
·         1 cup milk
·         1/2 cup vegetable oil
·         2 teaspoons vanilla
·         1 cup boiling water

Directions:

1. Bake cookies from the box. J Pretty self explanatory there.
 2. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Coat three 8-inch cake pans with nonstick spray. Line the bottoms of the pans with parchment paper. Spray each pan again and coat with a thin layer of flour.

3. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla, and mix until everything is thoroughly incorporated. Stir in the boiling water; the batter will be very thin.

4. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared cake pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of each layer comes out clean. Cool the layers in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

5. Wrap each layer in plastic wrap and refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Make the cream cheese filling and chocolate butter cream (see recipes below). When you're ready to assemble the cake, remove the layers from the refrigerator. If needed, level each layer with a serrated knife or cake leveler.

6.  Place the bottom layer on a cake plate. Evenly spread about ¼ to ½ a cup of the cream cheese filling over the cake, put more filling in the center of the cake. You want to do the latter so that when you put the next layer on the icing will be even. Top with the second layer and repeat. Finally, top with the third layer.
7. Take the rest of the frosting and change its color with food coloring. I chose red for Waymon’s favorite color. Frost the rest of the cake with this frosting. Not worrying too much of how perfect the sides of the cake are because you’ll cover it with the cookies afterwards.
8. Take the cookies you previously baked and place them around the cake.
9. Shave some chocolate over the cake for a nice effect. I wanted to put chocolate chips on top, but I didn’t want it too sweet.

Cream Cheese Frosting
·   1 cup cream cheese
·         3/4 cup butter
·         1/2 tablespoon vanilla
·         6 cups powdered sugar

1. Beat the cream cheese and butter with an electric mixer at medium speed for about one minute.
2. Add the vanilla and beat one minute more.
3.  Reduce the mixing speed to low, and add the powdered sugar about 1/2 cup at a time.
4. Once the sugar is completely incorporated, beat at medium speed for about two minutes or until fluffy.

Husband Approved - 44 Man Freezer Meals

This will be the second time I've made freezer meals, but this time I wanted to switch gears and create a menu that's more man friendly. A lot of the meals that I made last time were new to my husband and me. These meals here, are in his comfort zone so that he doesn't have to cringe over the unfamiliar and he already loves what he is going to eat!  He even approved this list just an FYI. :) It took me a little over 4 hours to prepare everything. I was verrrrrry distracted, but it was well worth it all:)

In total I made 44 meals out of 16 different recipes.

Meat Marinara
(2-4 servings)
This is the meat that I used for the lasagna. It’s simple and easy. You could also use this mixture for spaghetti if you wanted to add more ground beef.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1- 12 oz can of tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1.5 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1.5 tsp onion powder
  • 1.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp crushed pepper *optional
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
Directions:
1.       Brown ground beef in large pot
2.       Add in onions and garlic
3.       Add in all tomato products
4.       Add in all seasonings
5.       Let meat mixture cool completely before assembling lasagna or storing for spaghetti

Healthy Meat Mix
(4-5 servings)
This is the base of the meat mixture that I use for meatloaves and meatballs. It’s a way for me to rid my fridge of any leftover veggies and a way me to sneak in veggies for my husband. He doesn’t even notice when I cook the meat completely through.  It should be funky colors when you shape these bad boys. It's brown when you cook it, I promise. I got this recipe from a fellow wife that has an extremely picky eater as a husband:)

Ingredients:
  • 2  lbs ground beef
  • ½ an onion, pureed
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 carrots, pureed
  • 3-4 handfuls of spinach, pureed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 handful of Italian bread crumbs
  •  Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1.5 tsp onion powder
  • 1.5 tsp garlic powder
Directions:
1.     Add all ingredients together in a large bowl
2.     Meatballs
·        Add in 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
·        I also add in parmesan cheese * optional
3.     Meatloaf
·        Add in 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire
·        Add in ¼ cup of ketchup

Lasagna
(2-4 servings) * I divided my lasagna into 3 freezable trays

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 lbs of meat marinara
  • 1 box of no bake noodles
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese *I added more in because I wanted it to be a little bit cheesier.
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1.5 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 bag of shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
1.     Mix together egg, parmesan cheese, ricotta cheese and seasonings
2.     Ladle meat mixture onto the bottom of the pan
3.     Layer on no bake noodles
4.     Layer/dollop on cheese mixture
5.     Sprinkle mozzarella cheese
6.     Repeat steps 2-5 until you’ve reached the top
7.     Cover up lasagna and freeze
8.     Thaw completely day of cooking and pop into a 350 degree oven for 45-50 minutes or until sauce starts to bubble over

You can serve this with a side of salad and bread sticks! You are more than welcome to make this lasagna into 2 lasagnas instead of 3 smaller ones. My husband and I don’t eat that much especially if we’re pairing our meals with salad and bread sticks.

Meatball Subs
(2-4 servings) I divided my meatballs into three freezable aluminum tins.

Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs Healthy meat mix-meatball style
Directions:
1.     Take meat mix and form 1 inch meatballs
2.     Place all meatballs into the tin
3.     Cover tin and freeze
4.     Day of cooking: Thaw completely in the fridge and bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

Serve on hoagie buns with a side of chips.

Mini Meatloaves
(2-4 servings) I divided my meatballs into three freezable aluminum tins.

Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs Healthy meat mix- meatloaf style!
Directions:
1.     Take meat mix and form 1.5-2 inch large meatballs. Almost as if they were cupcake size
2.     Place all mini meatloaves into the tin
3.     Cover tin and freeze
4.     Day of cooking: Thaw completely in the fridge and bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes.

Serve with mash potatoes and gravy. I wanted to create a meatloaf cupcake with these and if I do I will surely post a picture of these adorable things!

French Dip
(2-4 servings) * I divided meat into 4 different gallon size bags

Ingredients:
  • 3-4 lbs of round/chuck roast
  • 2 packets of au jus, cooked and chilled
Directions:
1.     Evenly divide roast into gallon size bags
2.     Evenly divide chilled au jus into bags
3.   Air out bag completely and place in freezer, flat
4.  Day of cooking: Thaw completely and place into Crockpot for 4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low

I scored my meat so that all of the au jus flavor would run through the meat even more. You could also put this in the oven at 350 for 30-45 minutes depending on how well you want the meat to be cooked. We like our roasts medium rare. Serve on hoagie buns and leftovers could be in a sandwich!

Sweet & Sour Chicken
(2-4 servings) * I divided this into 2 bags

Ingredients:
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 16 oz Catalina dressing
  • 12 oz apricot preserves
  • 1 pkg onion soup
Directions:
1.     Divide ingredients into 2 bags
2.     Air out bag and place in freezer, flat
3.   Day of cooking: Thaw complete in fridge and place into crock pot for 4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low

Serve with rice. You can also make this in the oven at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

Sloppy Joes
(2-4 servings) * I divided this into 2 bags

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tsp steak/burger seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • ½ an onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar ( you could also use apple cider)
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 1 table spoon maple syrup
Directions:
1.      Brown ground beef and drain
2.      Add in all ingredients to pot
3.      Take pot off of the heat and let meat mixture cool completely
4.       Divide mixture into 2 bags
5.     Air out bag and place in freezer, flat
6.   Day of cooking: Thaw complete in fridge and place into crock pot for 4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low.

Serve with hamburger buns. You can also make this on the stove by warming the meat mixture completely.

Chicken Pot Pie
(3-6 servings) * This mix made two pies

Ingredients:
  • 2 ½ cups of shredded chicken ( I boiled my chicken and let cool)
  • 2 packets of chicken gravy ( You could also make your own)
  • 2 premade pie crusts in pan
  • 2 premade pie crust tops
  • 1 bag of frozen peas/carrots mix ( I used peas, beans and carrots)
  • 1 small onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1.     Bake bottom pie crust and let cool
2.     While bottom pie crust is in the oven, thaw out top of pie crusts T
3.      Mix all ingredients in large bowl
4.     Divide mixture into both of the pie crusts
5.     Top pies with pie crust tops
