Flashback Friday- Baby Wells 2014

I can't tell you how much I love the way Haidyn looks at me. It makes me feel like I am the most important and beautiful person in this world. She sees all the good in me and nothing else. She depends on me and wants nothing more than to spend every minute with me, even if she's sleeping.
Motherhood has been such an amazing journey for me thus far. I didn't think I would ever be good at being a Mom, but if I must say so myself I'm not doing half bad. When we planned to start our family we had no idea it would change everything we knew about our lives.  We look and do everything differently, always keeping in mind that we have someone looking up to us as her role model even if she is so small. She rocked our world from day one and she is always the best part of our day. Not a day goes by that Waymon and I don't smile and gawk over our little girl.
This is the first time I've complied all of my weekly pictures from my pregnancy and it brings tears to my eyes. I can't believe how much she's grown. I'm in for a lifetime of crying because I'm the typical Mom that cries at every milestone and every time I reminisce. I'm glad I captured my most precious time with her. I hope that one day she'll see it and love it as much as I do.
I would never change the timing of her blessing us with her presence. I can't imagine a day without my best friend.

Melaluca EcoSense Safer for Your Home Pack -Product Review

Going green in our home was not very important until Haidyn came into our lives. I realized that her well being is important so much so that we should convert our home.  I've read about The Honest Company and for months I couldn't get myself to commit to their products.  However, when I was introduced to Melaluca I was blown away from the get go.

Haidyn's daycare uses all of these products. Having a center that wasn't full of bleach and really took into account the well being of every child there is really important to us. These products are natural and backed by a pharmaceutical company that you can actually count on. *And for those of you wondering about the bleach, bleach is used once something in the center goes viral.* I saw, for myself, what these products did to her center-which is huge for us. What got me is the fact that their products don't need child safety caps because their products have no chlorine bleach, ammonia, harsh chemicals and formaldehyde. Everything is super-concentrated, no fillers and no phosphates. How amazing is that? Every product is like that.
We didn't want Haidyn to have the health problems that we have. I have eczema and Waymon has asthma. We know that we may not be able to prevent those two things, but we would like to try to avoid it. Everything in our house is slowly converting (with exception to our food). I'm a believer.  A lot of people are skeptical about the cost of these kind of products, but it's all worth it. It's cheaper than what we use to spend on our household products FOR BETTER PRODUCTS! My house is cleaner and I loving know that everything is natural and no harsh chemicals are being used in our home anymore.

This pack comes with the following:

-Sol-U-Mel Botanical 2x Concentrate Disinfectant
This took place of my Bleach. ( I still have some on hand for if we get viral ). I use this on everything that I need to be clean. Usually it's Haidyn's seat or my Kitchen sinks.
-Sol-U-Mel 3-in-1 Cleaner
I use this for my stain remover. I've seen people use this to get rid of permanent marker off of walls. I use this for removing the rancid smell from Haidyn's bottles. ( Sometimes it just gets left :/ ) It gets sprayed onto our carpets before vacuuming and in our gross trash cans.
-Tough & Tender Multi-purpose Surface Cleaner
This cleaner can be used for almost every surface. I use this for cleaning my table, counter tops, stove top     and microwave.
-Tough & Tender Muli-Purpose Surface Cleaner Wipes
I use this at work to clean my work area. It's very similar to Lysol Wipes.
-MelaMagic Heavy Duty Cleaner
I've used this to mop our floors and to clean our oven.
-Tub & Tile Bathroom Cleaner
This cleaner cleans our bathtub, toilet and bathroom sinks. This will make your bathtub shine, believe me I   made it happen with little effort.
-No Work Daily Shower Cleaner
I sprayed this after we've showered. It smells amazing!
-Rustic Touch Furniture Polish
Everything wood gets this polish. It shines like nothing you've ever seen.
-Clear Power Glass Power
This replaced our windex. WOW! Our mirrors are clean.
-Diamond Brite Automatic Dishwasher Detergent
This is for our dishwasher. I love how these pods are everything I need to wash our dishes. It does a better job than our old pods.
-Lemon Brite Hand washing Liquid
This bottle alone can wash 500 dishes. I love the smell of this and it cuts through grease like a dream. I also got a Green Apple one. :)
-Prespot 4x Laundry Stain Remover
This is something I use on all of our stains. It's the best stain remover I've ever used. It gets rid of Haidyn's everyday messes and Waymon's old dirt stains from work or skating.
-MelaPower 6x Laundry Detergent (48-load)
This detergent does not fade the color of your clothes. It doesn't take much for you to use it either. I also don't have to use a baby detergent for Haidyn because this is safe for everyone's skin type due to there not being any harsh chemicals.
-MelaBrite 6x Brightener (48-load)
This would be your oxyclean. It brightens everything.
-MelaSoft Liquid Fabric Softener (48-load Clean Cotton)
This stuff smells like heaven and it's not overwhelming like most fabric softeners.
-MelaSoft Dryer Sheets (100-count Clean Cotton)
-Revive Fabric Freshener
This took place of our Febreeze!
*2 micro-clothes, seven labeled spray bottles , laundry pump and 2 Drain-Back caps.

All of these products cost me 120.00  and that's including shipping and taxes. Please tell me where and how you can beat that.

20 Things I Learned While I Was on Maternity Leave

Now that I've been back to work for about two months ... I reminisce on  the days I spent at home with our little girl. I knew  how long 8 weeks was, but I couldn't wait to go back to work. As soon as I was released to go back to work at 6 weeks , I did. But on my leave, I did learned a few things about her and myself that changed myself forever.

1. Every little thing is a HUGE win. Trying to get everything done in a day is almost impossible now, but if I tried than that's all that matters.
2.Grey's Anatomy saved me from boredom  when everyone else was at work and they couldn't talk to me.
3.Your real friends will come through  because not everyone wants to come over while you look frumpy.
 4. Being a mom isn't a part time gig. It's a round the clock gig.
5.Getting sleep when you can the first few weeks is the key to staying alive.
6. I will never be worry free ever again. I use to think that I would stop worrying after awhile, but now the worry is 24/7 and I can't stop it.

7.Make up really isn't that important.
8.Washing your hair is REALLY important.
9. My house will never be super clean ever again.
10.My schedule will never be clear ever again. I have to plan everything....
11.Going to the bathroom/showering is a luxury.
12.Taking too many pictures isn't enough pictures

13. Getting her on a  schedule was  sooooooo important otherwise she has no structure.
14. Kissing her until she was sick of me every day was my lifesaver.
15. Holding her all the time didn't spoil her in the least bit.
16. She really loves when I sing to her and she doesn't care how awful I sound.
17. Being a parent is everything I hoped it was going to be and more. I wouldn't change a thing.
18. Every day she will be the priority. Our world now revolves around Haidyn .
19. Watching her sleep was the most rewarding and peaceful thing I will ever experience.
20. Time really goes by so,so fast.

Family Visit

I always love when Haidyn gets to meet new people. She loves it. I honestly think she enjoys trying to make everyone smile. It's contagious. She's not picky about who she meets or where she meets them. Everyone is new and interesting. I'm get exceptionally excited when she gets to meet our family members.

Haidyn met my Auntie Tia  and Uncle Eddie today. She was not shy. She showed off her coordination and her ability to stand! She grew prouder of herself every time they cheered. She eagerly smiled at them while they spoke in Tagalog as if she knew exactly what they were saying.

Haidyn got to meet a very special family member of mine, my older cousin Nona. I haven't seen my Ate Nona in over 10 years. The last time I saw her I was 10 years old and I remember idolizing her all because I wanted to be just like her. She lives in the Philippines with her beautiful family. I'm thrilled that I got to see her again and that she got to meet the loves of my life. I hope that we get to meet her family in the Philippines one day too.
