KB Bows & Bowties Halloween Headband Review

A couple weeks ago I entered the KB Bows & Bowties Halloween Giveaway and won! I couldn’t believe I won the giveaway since I’ve been obsessing over their bows and headbands since the shop opened. I can’t believe I finally got my hands on their famous headbands!  I love the shop and all of the creative bows/ headbands that come out of their shop for a reasonable price.

Kami takes pride in what she does and you can tell. The giveaway headband is carefully put together with so much intricate detail. The sequins surrounding each of the “Mickey ears” are subtle, but notable.

The material of the headband is sturdy so you know that it will be able to withstand multiple uses (even for my rambunctious toddler). The headband itself is very simple, yet pairs with any outfit seamlessly. I, in fact stole it from Haidyn as well to rock it at work today! Can you blame me?

Thank you so much KB Bows & Bowties for the amazing headband . I can’t wait to order more for our trip to Disneyland!

Check out the business Facebook here and check out the different bows and accessories she has to offer of her Etsy page and IG page.

Surprise H-Day Present for Mama- Review

I’ve emphasized quite a few times on here that I am a huge supporter for small business as well as shopping local. I will pay the extra for something homemade if I can because I know the quality of the product(s) will be better. So last week for Haidyn’s birthday I received thee raddest present ever to commemorate her first birthday. I want to say that I was surprised that I got a gift for her birthday, but I am thrilled that I got one too! It’s not a surprise to anyone that follows me that Haidyn’s first birthday made me an emotional wreck.

It took everything in me not to cry when I got this gift.  The mug has my favorite picture from Haidyn’s 1st birthday pictures on it as well as a “You are my wildest dream come true” on the other side. The quote comes from my Birthday letter to her. See why I teared up now? This is the best gift I could’ve ever received and to make it even better than it already it is- it’s from a local small business!

The mug was made by MyPrinceCharming 1 . This shop creates everything you can imagine to put on t-shirts, onesies and mugs! The quality of my mug is superb. The mug is sturdy and dishwasher safe.  You can tell that they took the time to envision the designs that are on the mug as well as the mug itself; which I value more than anything. It’s the small details that count the most. The mug stands approximately 4.5 inches tall,  holds 15 oz and is dual colored- mine is white on the outside and pink on the inside!

I am lucky enough to know the wonderful wife team personally behind this store. Not only are they great at what they do, they’re great people to have make your custom shirts/mugs.  They take custom shirt/mug orders, ship locally and soon they will start to ship internationally! They work with you to get your design just right, so that your vision comes to life in your customer shirt.

Thank you, thank you My Prince Charming 1 for my incredible custom mug , for being supporters of my blog, photography and being soo good to Haidyn and myself.

If you are interested in any of these products and would like to check them out please click on the links below for more information on their business. I've linked all of their information in the review blurbs as well.

Lil' Miss Designs Accessories Monthly Bow Description- Month One & Review

I found this store on facebook a little over 2 months ago while I was looking for Haidyn’s birthday bows.  I loved the fact that she had so many different options and ribbons styles to choose from. Each one is handmade and local; which I am a big supporter of.  Local is always better in my book. Lil’ MissDesigns offers a “Bow of the Month” subscription which offers 3 different options for the subscription; 3 month, 6 month or 1 year. The prices are reasonable and affordable if you are the one who loves to buy bows for your little one. I paid $ 90.00 for 3/bows a month for an entire year; which makes each bow $2.50 and shipping is free with the subscription.  You either get to pick the bows yourself or let her decide at random.

Now that Haidyn’s hair is growing faster than I can keep up with, bows are an easy way to keep her hair in place and dress up her hair a little. My girl loves to play in the dirt at school so the bow doesn't fool anyone, but the bows always add a little flair to her outfits. She is starting to favor and pick her own bows too!  (Queue excited Mama Dance here)

She was not successful in eating this rock. Don't worry [:
Each month of the bows I wanted to showcase all of the bows of the month that Lil’ Miss Designs created. This month I chose: SF Giants, St. Patrick’s Day and Elmo. All shipments are shipped out on the 15th of every month; however since the mail man didn’t have mine out to deliver on time I received a complimentary Easter bow! Seriously, #1 reason why I love local small businesses!Check out the business facebook here and check out the different bows and accessories she has to offer!
