Fierce Influenster VoxBox Unboxing

Receiving a Voxbox from Influenster is like getting an early Christmas present. I’m always overly anxious to see all of the great goodies the box includes. This box is of course fierce and is jam packed with everything a fierce woman would use. I’m embracing my inner fierce woman and enjoying all of these products. I also had the pleasure of sharing one of these items with my mini-fierce girl because just like me she gets excited when Voxboxes come through!  

 Vaseline 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly

I don’t think I’ve had Vaseline in my house since I was a teenager. I remember always remember using it whenever I dyed by hair as a teen just to keep the dye off my forehead, but we all know that , I never mangamed to get that right. Now, I love using Vaseline as a highlighter to create the dewy finish look and to keep my perfume last longer.

 Carefree Acti-Fresh Panty liners

I’m always looking for the best panty liners because I do use them every day. These are lightweight, unscented and absorbent. I can’t stand heavy panty liners because you’re not supposed to feel them while you wear them!  I may have to switch up my brand now to this one.

  Madam C.J. Walker Brassica Seed Oil

This product was my favorite out of the entire box. I have very thick, coarse, wavy hair and this oil stands up to it smoothing and hydrating your hair. You all know that I’m the queen of two day hair ( okay more like 3-4 day hair), but this oil allows me to go that long without washing my hair and still have a great shine to it. The smell of this oil alone is enough to buy it. It smells heavenly. I’m wishing that I could let you all smell it! I love using this oil in Haidyn’s hair as well to give it that little shine. I don’t know if I would use this if I had fine or thin hair. It might be a little too much for that hair type, but if you do try it I would use it moderation.

 Kandee Johnson for SinfulColors: Pretty Vintage Collection

YouTuber and makeup artist Kandee Johnson collaborated with Sinful Colors and came out with her own line of nail polishes. I got the polish that Haidyn calls “Elsa”. I wasn’t able to test this product as Haidyn snatched away from me as soon as she saw it in the box. This is her current favorite shade and I can’t blame her. It’s a beautiful shiny blue that will be perfect for the summer time. I will be using it as soon as I get it back from her or I tire from using my dark Fall shades, which every comes first. I’m just not done with Fall yet!

 SheaMoisture Argan Oil & Almond Milk Smooth & Tame Shampoo and Blow Out Crème

This was my most anticipated product from the box. I’ve always seen Shea Moisture at Target, but I’ve never gotten the chance to try until now. I love this product. It works so well with my hair and I can’t believe that I’ve put buying it off this long! I love the scent of it as well. It does stand true to smoothing out my long sometimes unmanageable hair.

Catchin ' Some Zzz's w/ Zzzquil

I wish I wasn’t pre-wired to constantly stress even over the little things daily. I’m trying my best to “go with the flow”, but I know better than to kid myself; I’m a control freak at heart.  At least I’m being honest with myself right? The peak of my stress came with our new home in regards to the packing and paperwork and etc. The stress is so bad that it’s taking over my sleep! On average I’m only getting 4-5 hours of sleep a night- so it’s even worse than just bad.  In my desperate need to break the cycle of running on no sleep and an entire pot of coffee during the day Influenster saved the day by sending me a trial size of ZZZquil liquid capsules to test out.

The label states that it will take at least 20 minutes to be in full effective and to ensure that you will be able to sleep for 7-8 hours once you’ve taken it.  I bought about ZZZquil before for my husband but I’ve never taken it.  I’m anti- liquid medicine of any kind unless I have to so right off the bat I was a big fan. It took me about 5 minutes to fall asleep and I slept for NINE hours- NINE glorious hours of my life.

I haven’t slept that well since before Haidyn. It was hard to shake off the “tired” feeling, but I believe I felt that way because of how tired I really was. I finally got some rest all thanks to ZZZquil. I wouldn’t be able to take it during the week in case I do get groggy from it, but I would love to make it a weekend ritual. You can’t beat sleeping in on the weekends!

Covergirl’s The Super Sizer Fibers Mascara | Product Review

I’m a sucker for big, full lashes.  It’s hard for me to stir away from my favorite Rimmel mascara most days, but I do want to get out of my comfort zone. When I saw Covergirl’s new mascara on sale I immediately grabbed one and ran. This mascara just came out so supplies are limited. 

I did a review a couple years back for the Younique fiber lashes. I loved the lashes but they were too heavy for everyday use for me personally.  I wanted the best of both worlds with lashes so fiber lashes was something I looked forward to reusing. I’m allergic to the glue for eyelash extensions and 

I can’t seem to get myself to put fake eyelashes on correctly.

 This mascara was priced at about $6.00 at your local drugstore and came in a variety of different colors as most drugstore mascaras do. I got the shade very black. Unlike the Younique fiber mascara which has two tubes ( one mascara and one fiber ) , Covergirl’s mascara is only one tube.

PROS: The wand is pretty amazing as it lifts and separates your lashes for you. It’s a build-able mascara, just like Younique , so that you get the lashes that you want. ( I used two coats to get the length I wanted). As stated above, there is only one tube for this mascara as the fibers and mascara are mixed into one.

CONS: Clumpy if you’re not careful. I rushed putting on my other lashes and it clumped a little for me.

OVERALL: I do like this mascara. It’s not heavy and it’s comfortable to wear even with my glasses. They look natural and they get the job done. I also love the price since these fiber mascaras tend to be on the pricier side. 

 

Lil' Miss Designs Accessories Monthly Bow Subscription- Month Nine

Christmas is soon and I received my November bow shipment! For November I ordered an octonauts, batman and a Christmas bow. I received a snowman, octonauts and the Christmas bow! I’m finally back on schedule with all of my bow reviews too. There are only 3 more months to complete my year with Lil Miss Designs Accessories.

The snow man bow is so cute. I love that it’s white and has a little snowman in the middle of the bow. Haidyn is in love with the snow and I can’t wait to show her a snowman bow!

The octonauts bow will also throw her for a loop. The octonauts is one of her favorite shows, favorite theme songs I should say. She will be so excited to wear her favorite characters!

My favorite out of the bunch is the Santa Christmas bow! She will get to wear for Christmas this year. I love how subtle Santa’s belt is on the bow.
