uhhMAZING chocolate chip cookies- Easter Edition

I found this uhhmazing recipe on bloglovin a couple weeks ago and it has changed our cookie GAME forever. I’ve made cookies before here  and people have raved about mine, but these ones blows mine out of the water and vanishes forever.  Yup it's seriously that good. We wanted to try to make our own cookies since we all usually have 1 after dinner every night, but lately we've been finishing them quicker than usual. By we, I mean Haidyn :] Any who this recipe was simple enough to put together ( I made it twice already )  and easy for  Haidyn to get involved in the cooking process.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. soda edition
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 1/4 cups flour (give or take)
  • 1 cup  chocolate chips ( add in more depending on your liking)
  • 1 cup M&M's ( Easter addition ones **optional )

 DIRECTIONS :
  1. Cream butter and sugar together until well incorporated.

  2. Add in eggs and vanilla.

    look at that concentration!

  3. Mix all dry ingredients in a separate bowl and gradually mix into the wet mixture. mix the dry ingredients separately in a large bowl.

  4. Fold in chocolate chips and Easter M&M's.

  5. Spoon cookie down onto a baking sheet as usual. ( We made a cookie pizza too!

  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. makes about 2 dozen. ( We made 18 regular cookies and put the rest onto a pizza pan and created our pizza cookie. The pizza cookie will cook for about 20 minutes.

I hate that sometimes my cookies are oddly shaped and that only some are gooey. So I decided that if I put the cookie batter into muffin pans that they would all turn out perfectly round and gooey! A win-win!! The recipe below is my chocolate chip cookie recipe- the simplest cookie recipe I could whip up.

Ingredients:

  1. 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  2. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  3. 1 teaspoon salt

  5. 3/4 cup sugar
  6. 3/4 cup brown sugar
  7. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  8. 2 large eggs

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. In a large bowl combine butter, eggs, sugars and vanilla extract and beat until creamy.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips
