Thankful

This year  I have so many things to be thankful for including my family, my wonderful friends and my job. Most importantly, I am thankful for my Haidyn Bayne. I remember last year when I couldn't wait until she was here so I could kiss and hug her every single day. And today, I can't imagine a day without her by my side. I cannot even begin to tell you what life was like before her because now it seems that insignificant.  Everything about my girl makes me feel so blessed.  I have my best friend as my daughter. She is the most important thing in my life; She is the reason why I get up every morning. And I am extremely proud to be her mom.

FLASHBACK FRIDAY- HAIDYN NEWBORN

At work, I sometimes day dream about being home with Haidyn again. I reminisce on how wonderful it was to be at home with her all day everyday. I have no idea why I wanted to go back to work so quickly when being with her was all I cared about. Now my baby is growing, slowly growing into her personality and is becoming more and more independent. Today, I miss my very new baby Haidyn.

Amber & Josh- MATERNITY 2014

This couple had the best ideas for their shoot! They knew what they wanted and we went from there. They were full of fun and laughter and I couldn't have asked for a better couple to photograph. You can tell just how much fun we had during the session. Thank you for being so very patient with me through the entire process. You know how much I loved photographing you both. Thank you for choosing me to capture such a beautiful time in your guys' life. Congratulations on your new addition. I cannot wait to meet her!

Baby B & Brothers-VW BABY/FAMILY 2014

I had the pleasure to work with this amazing family today. Baby B was no stranger to the camera. She knew exactly what to do when the camera was pointed at her. Capturing her bubbly personality made my entire day. And how adorable is their VW bug?

WEEK IN PICTURES: VIRGINIA CITY AMERICAN FLATS

Visiting Virginia City last week was my first time being in Virginia City. I can't tell you why I haven't been there since I've lived in Nevada for so long, but I'm glad that I went... finally. I never had a reason to go. I loved the city and it's charm. I didn't like the drive up there, but it was well worth the wait. I wish I had more time to explore the small town and enjoy it a little more, but that will have to wait for another time. I'm still blown away at the American Flats and how truly beautiful it is.

WEEK IN PICTURES: HALLOWEEN 2014

The Wells' favorite time of year is when all of the holidays coming rolling around, more importantly Halloween. Every year, we pass out candy at my Mom and Dad's house to all the little guys. My Dad decorates the outside of the house to either spook the kids ! This year was different since it was Haidyn's first Halloween. She had no idea what was going on necessarily, but she knew that Halloween was our holiday.

Halloween is also Nevada Day, so Haidyn had a day off of school and I had a well deserved day off of work. YAY! We rolled out out of bed around 7:30 - our late start and hung out with Waymon before he went off to work. Sassafras decided to come hang out with us too before we left for the night.

Haidyn was excited to go to her Grandparents' house as always. She got to hang out with Grandma as while we watched the parade in San Francisco Giants.  ( by the way GO GIANTS!!)  She also got to hang out with Grandpa while I carved the pumpkins. She had so much fun rolling around everywhere trying to explore their house.

Haidyn also got to meet Bonnie for the first time. There weren't any pictures of them together because Bon's too cool for pictures.

We waited for Waymon to get off work to trick or treat. We decided this year that we were going to dress up as a family ( and we hope to do so every year). We went as Shirmp Nigiri & Kikoman Soy Sauce.  I made our costumes! I was excited about Haidyn's costume so much more than I should've been.

Haidyn didn't know what was going on during our trick or treating walk, but she did like hanging out with her Dad and Uncle Colbie. She loved all of the lights, music and decorations at everyone's house.

I can't wait for next year!
